As part of this effort Williams claimed – falsely – that he had a PhD in structural engineering from various reputable educational institutions, including, the University of Connecticut, Central Connecticut State University, and Concordia College of Bronxville, New York. In reality, Williams does not have a doctorate degree from any of these institutions. Instead, Williams merely purchased a purported PhD certificate from an unaccredited, online institution called Concordia College, which is unaffiliated with Concordia College of Bronxville, New York.
