That'll work? I was thinking of letting them stay on the cuke since it's already dead. They can't get to anything else via the soil since it's in a bucket.

I don't know...I'm just really disheartened about the whole garden thing this year. My tomatoes are turning yellow in some spots and the plant is crispy and brown in others...yet there are branches that look to be perfectly healthy. I'm not garden savvy enough to know what's going on.
