HES and other Bakken players could benefit indirectly from a new Shell pipeline from St. James, Louisiana, to Gulf of Mexico refineries:

St. James is the destination for some Bakken crude shipped to the Gulf by rail, so Shell’s pipeline could lessen the glut there, improving the market price for Bakken crude moving by rail.
