FALSE__Michelle Obama was disbarred/forced to give up her license to practice law in 1993

The short form of this conspiracy is that Michelle Obama either was disbarred by the Illinois Supreme Court in 1993, or that she voluntarily gave up her license to practice law before she could be disbarred for an ethics violation.

This is not true. According to snopes.com, Michelle Obama did not voluntarily surrender her law license. The First Lady requested that her law license be placed on inactive status. At the time of her request, she had no disciplinary action pending or otherwise against her
