Yet his answer today from the Labour conference in Glasgow was to attempt to take the moral side. I can't see there is one. I am no pacifist; I'm Jewish , not that that makes much difference, , I traditionally vote for the more rightish side in politics. My major concern at the moment is that nobody in government listens.

The most interesting theory I've heard so far is that without a 2nd resolution, Blair may have to give parliamant a free voet based on conscience and MP's own constituent's beliefs. This would allow Blair his own survival (he is up against a wall within his own party, never mind the populace), but would tend to mess up his relationship with GW a bit.

How do you think the US would react?
