That's been my hope for a while (refer to post 8622):

My only hope (as far as Apple is concerned) is that somewhere down the road, Liquidmetal will come up with new IP that Apple cannot resist (and didn't come up with on their own already).

But, the truth is, we still don't know what's going on.
