Hey ripdog. Sorry it took me so long to reply, I went out for a bit. With the ST margin, you can trade with out having to worry about free rides, but you can only day trade 3 times in 5 days. What you described is day trading, but is permissable 3 times in 5 days. If you hit 4, which they keep count for you in clear display on your homepage, you will be restricted for 90 days. I did use their L2, not knowing it didnt cover OTC/Pinks and cancelled 5 minutes later. I use TDA now
