In no way did I mean that all multinational companies are the same.
Companies like CAT, Boeing, Sap, IBM or Microsoft are in a class of their own because of their size and competition. (Note that Cisco is not part of this group anymore.)
Companies like Coach, Apple or BMW have their own place because of pricing power.
Then there are the commodity companies who bend in the wind primarily because they don't have control of their product pricing. They should be a short term investment when the times are right.
