Peg -- nah, much better to hide behind anonymous super-PACs and meddle via astroturfed teabuggers/bagnuts and ALEC and an apparat of well-funded 'think tanks' and 'pundits' together with a phalanx of hate-talkers brought to all by good capitalists such as Rupert Murdoch and Clear Channel (well howdy, Mitt!), along with the usual ever-present armies of well-paid influential private lobbyists
