Infoblox Inc (NYSE: BLOX) surged 7.76% to $20.00 in the pre-market session. Infoblox posted its Q3 earnings at $0.05 per share on revenue of $43 million. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.01 per share on sales of $41 million. The company also issued upbeat forecast for the fourth quarter.

Complete Genomics Inc (NASDAQ: GNOM) moved up 6.87% to $2.49 in the pre-market session. GNOM shares have tumbled 83.74% over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has declined 0.78% in the same period.

DryShips Inc (NASDAQ: DRYS) added 4.44% to $2.35 in the pre-market session. DRYS is scheduled to report its Q1 earnings on May 29.

Chesapeake Energy Corporation (NYSE: CHK) soared 1.73% to $15.85 in the pre-market trading. CHK's trailing-twelve-month operating margin is 22.69%.
