Oh c'mon Phil. Of course it has to do with politics!

This is another catastrophe that has happened to make us realize that we have too many chiefs and not enough Indians.

It's not like hurricanes don't happen each year. There should have been contingency plans done way in advance and these plans should have been tested.

It just shows us that when push comes to shove, everyone should have their own contingency plan because our politicians (all of them) don't know what the hell to do except shake hands for votes before election day.
