The device (supposedly) sold by PGYC wasn't the same as the dPollution thing, though I'm sure it was in some way similar. And equally scammy. The assignees ("inventors") were Gilles Monette and Robert Boivin.

The dPollution (Start Scientific) device is patented in the US and Canada:
