SilverSurfer -- so you'll be voting straight-ticket Democratic from now on in order to maximize the chance that (1) those big banks will be broken up to where no one or even a fistful of their successors is big enough to cause any serious heartburn if they fail, and (2) all banks will be banned from (a) any and all such derivatives exposures whatsoever (as part and parcel of a broader review of derivatives leading to the outright outlawing of most derivatives and the very tight regulation of the few derivatives that are allowed to continue to exist), and (b) any and all proprietary trading whatsoever -- right?
