I know this board is long term, but I posted the following on an Investors village board, makes me wonder why the divergence. And let's back off MON, neither of us is going to give in, lol.

Something is drastically wrong?? If China gets aggressive lowering interest rates do all the below turn around?/

Why are all the above down substantially lately and the USA is up? I can remember guests on the old Wall Street Week saying that bear markets don't end with a whimper. The rest of the world is in one, look at the above charts again. I believe the USA could have another 1987 type crash, but stay down this time for a while. And the USA will catch up(down) to the rest of the world. On the other hand if China starts lowering interest rates, this could be a major bottom for foreign stocks, but will USA stocks continue to outperform?
