Ever hear of sell the rumor?
Fact is much stronger than Fiction, Baby.

It's actually "buy the rumor, sell the news". People did buy the rumor for 4 days, now they're selling the news, or lack thereof. Just like 2010. I know that no one wants to believe it, but is anyone else starting to see a large similarity between what I suggested might happen a few days ago and what is actually happening now? This isn't an, "I told you so". It's more of a warning that it might not be done falling. Even if you believe that this stock is going over $1 in October if it gets released in the iPhone 5, or if you think that LQMT's 3rd quarter results in November are going to show huge profits, that's still 6-7 months from now, don't you think it would be better to sell some shares in the low 30's or high 20's, and then wait for it to base in the high-to-low teens over the next few months when you can buy them back. You might be able to double the amount of shares you current hold, or re-buy the same amount and keep the cash difference.

I'm not telling anyone to sell here, I really don't care what you do with your shares. I sold my trading shares when they were higher, and I plan on re-buying back in the teens. But there is no way that I'm buying in the high 20's or the 30's. That's chasing, and that's how I lost money back in the 70's. And the 60's. And the 50's. At points of the stock's cycle like we're in now, no one knows that is going to happen next. It might go back up to the 40's tomorrow, or it could drop to the low 20's. But it's more likely to drop than to go up (without any new news), and what we had last week wasn't even news, it was a rumor. So I may miss a huge run-up, but new buyers might lose a lot on a big drop. If there's a 50% drop, you will need another 100% gain just to break even. Chasing just isn't smart, I don't chase anymore.
