As far as I can tell, Nick's other crimes have been swindles and the DWI thing. The attack on Ed Leonard is a violent attack on a person.

Leonard reported that he was attacked in the drive way of his home when he returned from work. He saw 4 hispanics get out of a car parked on his street and come after him. He had been staked out.

His neighbors noticed the struggle, raised an alarm and called 911. The thugs got the laptop but threw it in some bushes as they ran back to their car. The laptop was recovered and the thugs arrersted that same afternoon.

Hard to believe the police couldn't get the thugs to testify against Jarvis. Just another chapter in Nick's charmed existance.
