If you have done your DD on me as well as I have on you, you would know immediately that I am a long term investor. I do not share your minute by minute interests in day trades. I look at point and figure charts, something with which you most likely are not comfortable.
I do not do one night stands.
I do indeed marry my investments. Pretty much I am faithful to them because I do a lot of research.
Sometimes research does not reveal the character of management, especially if they are young and not having a long track record.
The only mistake I made with Liquidmetal was not the timing of my purchases (for I invested in the long term potential of the technology of Liquidmetal), but the naive trust I put into the interim slick fraudsters that came in after Johnson, an extremely honest man, and after 7 years, departed when they were replaced by an extremely honest man, Tom Steipp.
As for the $3.00 shares, my friend. I could have sold them any time along the 9 year trail I have been invested. But I keep them as a constant memorial to what results when not investing in good management.
Enjoy your style of poker. I play a totally different game.
While I have been accused of drinking Kool Aid, I assure you that I am not PUNCH DRUNK. This is because, as an investor, I pick the battles that will win the war, like a good general. I am not a point man running around the marketplace looking to a fight where I can get clobbered bit by bit over the long run.
I am 67. You are 30. .Nuff Said. Like you said, "Ping An"
