Last time I checked the "state" still reports to the tax payers. Exposing children to history and or "alternate lifestyles" is nothing new.... Anyone that thinks it is soley up to the Public school system to teach THEIR kids how to think needs to send THEIR kids to an orphanage IMO. It is solely the parents responsibility to teach the kids what is right and what is wrong and to know the difference. If anyone disagrees with what is being taught in their kids PUBLIC school they have 2 choices...
1. Move them to a private school that only teaches them the "RIGHT" things. (A really scary idea IMO)
2. Take an active role in the school system and try and make changes.
I think much of what is wrong with todays kids is because many, many parents have left the upbringing and teaching of Children solely to the School systems. Many many parents are not taking an active role like they should.
