MIKP News has yet to be Realized ~ Mike The Pike Productions, Inc. Subsidiary, Saint James Films, Announces Film Slate for 2012


Mike The Pike Productions announces today that its subsidiary, Saint James Films [SJF] ( www.saintjamesfilms.com ) will produce and market up to ten feature films in 2012, with a minimum set at no less than 5 pictures. MTP CEO, Mark B. Newbauer and SJF President and COO, Ted Chalmers met this week in Los Angeles to discuss initiatives and it was agreed that they will launch pre-production immediately with delivery on two of the pictures before June 1, 2012.

Chalmers, former SVP of Media Brokerage for ICAP Media Markets (a division of www.icap.com ), is also CEO of TomCat Films ( www.tomcatfilmsllc.com ), a company with an impressive track record in which all of its productions have been profitable to date. The films will be budgeted (including Prints & Advertising) at under $1m each. Both Chalmers and Newbauer agree that projects at these levels can be produced with minimal overhead and extremely low risk. They will be marketed for sale worldwide, focusing primarily in the DVD and VOD arenas for attractive, streamlined returns.

More to come on the slate in April including set photos, social media pages and project benchmarks. SJF expects to realize revenues for at least 2 of the projects before end of Q2 2012.

Meanwhile, on MTP’s ( www.mtpprods.com ) own endeavors, execs eagerly await progress on White Space as producers continue to work diligently toward finalization, with the best possible sales/distribution outcome for the film and its investors. MTP is confident the project will bode well for Mike The Pike Productions and its shareholders, leading to continued success on its more ambitious endeavors, such as George R.R. Martin’s The Skin Trade, which is currently in script stages, based on the World Fantasy Award Winning Novella from the Author of HBO’s Game of Thrones.
