Watts, in my opinion the oil / petrochemical industry ( where I work ) can be a huge market for Liquidmetals. Especially in mechanical seals - not to mention safety valves, instruments, & rotating equipment.
Bellows type seals (link below) are common and can be very expensive. Depending on the service, they can be changed out every couple of months due to fugitive emissions / leaks, and the oil industry pay big money for new seal technology. If the seal manufactures can utilize Liquidmetals as a bellows or other seal components and cut down on their down time for feed pumps, they would pay for themselves.
