I said this earlier, either here or at Yahoo and it is worth repeating. For the first time, Liquidmetal has been employed in a device because of it functionary attributes: i.e. elasticity, repeatability, corrosion-resistance, sensitivity, all of which are essential for a diaphram.

Some day, you will see a very commercial application of liquidmetal in bourdon tube movements for pressure gauges (Manometri), no question.

Think in terms of submarines, aerospace, medical, where precision measurements are required as demonstated in the Blancpain video.

I believe Nuova Fima will some day get on board.
