Why U-blox , Acer, Pantech, Centrion (re-)signed a license agreement
I was wondering why these companies would (re-)signed a license agreement with
IDCC. They can ask IDCC to wait till they win against NOKIA and other companies
so they can (re-)sign the license agreement. I do not think IDCC will be able to
sue them if they did just that.
Does it make sense to assume that IDCC discussed with them their patents and how
strong their position against NOKIA and if these companies signed now they will
get better deal than if they signed later.
My point here, if my assumption is correct, this means these companies studied
IDCC patents against NOKIA and they think that IDCC has a lot of chance to win.
