Well, is it not possible that, if a scam, the "profit" from the scam these last many months is not dollars but skin, as in their skin out free to run around ? You ask what they would gain by keeping this alive with no volume and so apparently no financial gain . . . what if they gain at least a sliver of plausible credibility with which to confront the AMF charges ?
