you know, now that I think about it .. at this time in my life, it's odd to me that we all TURNED out to be strong believers in secular humanism ... darn, one of us should have turned out to be a believer ..

I just think that questioning things is built into a liberal's DNA. That's why more dems are atheists than repubs. As explained in John Dean's book, "Conservatives without Conscience", he goes on to say that conservatives allow for no dissent and tolerate no straying from their authoritarian rule.
