Hi Too Fuzzy, For Mutual Funds I generally use around 5% safes and 1000-1500 fixed min amounts. I prefer fixed min amounts rather than percentage of stock/fund value.

Even with LD aim of virtual/real of 2 there is still lots of resistance for the first sell, 10-13% in one example, so I would not mess with porfolio control prior to first sell. After a first sell the next sell points occur much closer if there are no intervening buys.
