eg: one of the films had a budget of $17,000. so if it made $18,000 in distribution, it was technically profitable.

re: lack of promo/awareness, if i were Mark, and thought i could get the chill lifted, i'd wait to do so before wasting money on a promo campaign. there are still plenty of pink traders who haven't gotten etrade accts to get around the chill.
