Sky, just saw the St James news.
definitely a niche production company.
how many of their titles had you heard of before today?

on the upside, at least the acquisition doesn't seem to be complete vaporware, as i had suspected.
i still need to do more research to convince myself that St James is a real production company, and not a quick website / IMDB reg fabrication.

quick bits so far:

of the 4 titles listed on their "completed" page:
http://saintjamesfilms.com/films

3 are listed in IMDB as produced by Tom Cat Films:
http://www.imdb.com/company/co0281531/

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1345449/
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1370427/
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1535098/

Afghanistan: Between Light and Darkness is listed under Three Horizons:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1961170/companycredits

and i found trailers for all 4 on youtube:

definitely low budget fare, but given the low budgets, it's plausible the St James films are profitable in international markets, if they are real.

i couldn't find IMDB refs for either of the two in development:
-- captain battle
-- codename beetle
but they could be early pre-vis stage.

of note, none of St James' films are listed on boxofficemojo.com:
http://boxofficemojo.com/search/?q=Between%20Light%20and%20Darkness
but this could be due to low/international distribution.
i'm guessing none of these films ever played in a USA theater outside the art-house realm.
