The Dow fell substantially early on in the week, dipping below 12,740 on Tuesday, but managed to recoup most of its losses to close down only 55 points or 0.4% for the week at 12,922. It is up 11.6% for the year. The Nasdaq fell early on as well, but regained its losses to close at 2,674, up 12 points or 0.4% for the week, and up 12.7% for the year. The S&P 500 ended the week flat, up one point or 0.07% at 1,369. It is up 8.2% for the year. The Russell 2000 saw the biggest respective gain this week, rising 1.8% or 15 points to close at 817, which leaves it up 4.3% for the year.
