I don't find it at all unusual that a reversal in interests like that you suggest... would be accompanied by a full transit of a width or two of the bollies...

There's a trading pattern that occurs around the $1 mark that often plays out as a market battle over the listing...

In DHT, that battle was decided at the end of December...

Now, you have to ask the question again, re what the trade now means... a re-attack on the listing ? There'd be little point in that now, given the timelines. There isn't much of a sense of urgency in the trade, either, as a result. So, that battle for the listing got won... and then, there was a relaxation... while positions got reset...

Assuming everyone now accepts "the listing isn't going away" and "it's going higher from here"... you'd still expect to see the MM take down to the $1 level before that happening... making a new low in their own entry prices for the ride higher they expect, in the position reset after the prior battles, before the shift in the direction and focus of the trade really gets going...

The focus of the market contest has shifted... and, now, positions in the trade have shifted... so, you should also expect to see a shift in trading patterns now, from here... because the focus of the market contest is different, and the interests of the participants have changed...

I just EXPECT there to be that sort of MM manipulation as the battles play out and positions get reset... and expect that will have the range in impact on prices we do see here... making what I see consistent with what I expect... FWIW...
