HNZ is a participant in the China food market via its 2010 acquisition of Foodstar (#msg-51552987), which now looks like a steal. The growth rate is huge and, to date, Foodstar is selling in only four southern provinces.
HNZ CEO, Bill Johnson said on a recent webcast: “Food star has a slight expansion opportunity—the other 900 million people in the country.” (Johnson has a dry sense of humor.)
