I don't think you can draw any conclusions as to shady dealings without some evidence. I just think they are really struggling to survive financially until their products get some traction. It costs a ton of money to develope software, especially software in the security arena.

Mark Kay stated that a company was very interested in paying to have GID featured on QVC at their own expense for a piece of each sale. This may be good for SFOR to get more recurring revenue even if they have to give up 50-60% of each sale.
