It all depends on which MM makes the trade. When trades are thin, I usually put my bid in a little higher than the published ask when I want to make sure that I get the shares that I want. One MM may have had the ask at .0135 and another MM, that actually filled the order, may have had an ask of .0137 that they used to fill the order.
In any case, picking up 440k shares at .0137 is going to work out well for whoever purchased them.
We may be seeing some sales of shares that were purchased sub penny. A trader could be taking 30-50% profit in less than 60 days. If that was their goal, they are happy. The same thing will happen all the way up to ?????. I do not have a clue where this puppy will stop once it really gets rolling.
The gains over the past several weeks are much appreciated. Go SAVI!
