TVI Awarded a Quarter Million Dollar Order by Hampton Roads1/28/03

TVI Corporation (OTCBB:TVIN) is pleased to announce that the hospital committee of the Hampton Roads Metropolitan Medical Response System (MMRS) has chosen to standardize on TVI decontamination systems and has ordered the TVI three line system to equip all 15 hospitals in the Hampton Roads/Tidewater Virginia area.
The order is in excess of a quarter of a million dollars.
The Hampton Roads MMRS, one of the first established and the first located in Virginia, is one of the few multi-jurisdictional MMRSs in the US. As a multi- jurisdictional system and with the added responsibility of supporting the large military presence, this MMRS has to accommodate diverse population needs and clearly believed that the TVI system maximized the hospitals' ability to protect its constituents.
The TVI three line system purchased by the MMRS is the result of 5 years of research and field-testing of mass casualty decontamination systems. It includes three decontamination lines; one for male, one for female and one for non-ambulatory personnel. The articulating TVI's frame, which enables it to be rapidly deployed, was one of the key elements setting the TVI system apart from its competitors.
