My sense is that the latest Carlisle resignation was a last ditch strategic effort to jinx any deals in the works. Why else would he "re-resign"? Just so he can be the one to have saved all us poor shareholders from ruin?

Hmm...something just doesn't ring true with the venom of his latest resignation. It was intended to do more than simply resign, IMO.
