This "share buyback" argument is so dumb, buybacks are increasingly viewed as worthless uses of capital for Fortune 500 companies (whose investors prefer dividends), let alone little Liberty Star.

Though coincidentally, I would define buybacks as a potential strategic move for Liberty Star to do, if it were the case that we had enough money to start drilling our claims and do buybacks. In that case, I would advise the company to buy back as much as they could before drilling so as to establish a good reserve of treasury stock, before the RS. But their first priority for the use of capital is to advance the projects.

If I was an activist investor with my sights set on Liberty Star, I would buy as much as I could in the market, then approach the existing management with the following plan: After making me the Chairman and CEO, 1. Reverse Split 2. Begin drilling the Big Chunk, which would definitely spur potential partners to further action and to make better offers 3. ZTEM and drill at Tombstone/HM 4. ZTEM the NPSP and delineate its U308 potential, to the greatest extent possible without investing in drilling, and sell it off to capitalize our other operations.
