barge,

the Galaxy Tab has an Arm based CPU in it and as Weby's previous post suggested an Nvidia Tegra 2 CPU appears to be used in the article. (not to be confused with the Samsung Series 9 x86 based platform with a TPM)

It was an Nvidia powered tablet used at the Microsoft build conference in Sept. that had the TPM.2 functionality running in TrustZone.

To that end I'm glad to see how the Arm community will embrace the TCG specifications reguarding the use of TPM/MTM capabilities.

As dig, points out there is no shortage of proprietary Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions entering the mobile space.

Until the Arm designed processors have the TPM/MTM functions in them then I believe the goal and vision of TCG of an open standards based security solution has not arrived. It is heading in that direction but it is not there yet.

PC BIOS protection starting in the Gov't and DIB is where the big revenue opportunity lies with Wave in the next 6 months. JMHO
