I don't know how BIOD product is but Halozyme doesn't alter the ultra-fast insulin (PH20 modifies the extracellular matrix which enables more rapid absorption)...

Right. I understand it doesn't alter the ultra-fast acting insulins; my understanding is that it essentially turns a fast-acting insulin into an ultra fast-acting insulin. (BIOD is basically trying to do the same thing with their potentially improved analog, albeit via a different method.)

Separately, is the PH20 provided separately from the insulin analog where it's basically two separate injections or is it the case, or ultimate expectation down the road, that the PH20 and insulin analog would be combined into a single injection? Just thinking if it's a two-step process, and assuming an apples-to-apples comparison in data down the road (and there is no guarantee in that as BIOD has yet to show PoC for its potentially improved analog), BIOD's potentially improved analog would presumably just be one injection and I would think that could be an advantage over HALO's offering if it would indeed be a two-step (and two injection) process.
