well, medicaid pays for a part of the uninsured, but for every medicaid procedure there is a paid insurance claim that ends up getting charged extra to cover. so on that point, we are in violent agreement.

and whether we should continue to pay exorbitant middleman prices to companies that produce nothing and add nothing, or just make it simple and be one payer, we can probably agree to disagree on.
