No one is arguing for worms to sprout wings or new species to spring from whatever, and belief in science does not negate belief in a higher being. But you do understand that "macro" is the sum of micro, right? If you could get past the fundamentalist idea that science and religion are mutually exclusive, you might understand that science is, in many ways, consistant with Scripture. At very least, one can appreciate science while believing in a supreme being, and appreciation of science does not necessarily detract from religious belief. There is no heracy in the belief that creation and evolution are one in the same, and an ongoing process.
