the biggest cost driver facing our government was the increasing healthcare costs. Not going after that would be crazy. Now what you say is true - he could have gotten more passed but remember the first thing was the needed stimulus. He did that although we now know it was not big enough. So he then goes after healthcare and the Republicans played rope a dope with him as he mistakenly thought he could actually deal with them. If there was anything he did wrong it was waiting for the Senate to move forward.

Oh and you can't address the rising cost of healthcare until you get everyone insured and then go after modernizing the system of sharing information which was part of the bill.
