Arrogance is a human trait. It comes in all forms. Yes, the current administration is sometimes arrogant, but when other countries interests are jeopardized they display arrogance. I don't care if people polled around the world care for the USA or not. Sure it would be nice if we all loved one and other, but if it doesn't turn out that way,,,,oh well. I do however care for the interests of the USA.

I recently saw a news broadcast of people being interviewed in Indonesia. They were dissatisfied at the slow pace of rebuilding and wanted more help. We move to Africa where we've forgiven their debts and are talking about sending them more economic aid. I'm certain we'll be portrayed as the "world villian" no matter our position. We will never give enough, it is never enough. The African nations are the world poster child for corruption, mismanagement, and economic backwardness, yet through the decades of assistance we are portrayed as part of the problem.

So I guess we are the problem.......right.
