The long time GPGD transfer agent, First Public Securities Transfer Corp, was named in SEC litigation for being an unregistered transfer agent engaged in the issuing of unregistered securities to many companies including Modern Energy Corp and ZNext Mining Corp., Inc

If you search in the DTCC website Modern Energy Corp's cusip 607587409, there are notices about a DTC Suspension.

However, on either "Grand Pacaraima Gold Corporation", "GPGD" or "38610P106" results come up empty. Information is either non-public or non-existant there.
Other than the Zecco's NON-DTC list from Penson which is updated "in a best effort basis" (whenever they feel like so), or unless you ask your broker prior to placing a trade, there is no way to know what's up.

So the DTC could be charging cert fees on stocks based on non-public information. Great.
