btw, I confirmed with an RSVP on the morning of Oct 20 and asked WDRP to reply ASAP with a location so I could make hotel reservations, as I had to travel on Monday to make it for a Tuesday 2PM meeting. On (late morning Monday), Oct 24, I sent WDRP my cancelation telling them, I would not be there as they never responded to my request. My emails were always professional, and to the point.
Now the kicker, I then received an email (from Martel) response to my cancelation on Monday 24th, stating that they could only confirm that I was the "first on the list" that got a response on location (invitation) of the "M&G". They could not understand why I did not receive the email that they had sent. The forwarded email they provided me did NOT show my email address, time or date. As far as I am concerned, that was an excuse and a lie. I never got a response from WDRP addressed to me. Then Andrew responded to me saying i was going to miss an exciting meeting with a great surprises and special guest. go figure....I never received an email from WDRP the week prior to the M&G !
I had a non refund airfare, whose value I will be able to use as credit for future flight on the carrier (no money back). My conclusion: WDRP is not professional and has lots to learn on how to conduct business. I continue too hold, but will unload when I feel I can. Lost total respect for the WDRP group.
Again thanks to all those guys that did attend the M&G on Tuesday and their feedback. I also had full intentions on participating. Have no use for the WDRP group.
