That was exactly my reaction.
I have heard CEO's make less bullish statements regarding phase 2 compounds that have come back to haunt them in the form of shareholder lawsuits.
Does anyone know if the public announcement of the preparation of an NDA filing prior to any phase 2 results being disclosed an unprecedented event?
He must be awe-fully confident.
