IMO, the hiring of an attorney with SEC expertise is likely a signal that the SEC and FINRA may be continuing its investigation of ANWM and looking at taking further action against the company and possibly some of the people involved. Therefore an attorney was needed to defend both the company and any officers/others.

ANWM doesn't have money to pay for an attorney, however when action such as an SEC lawsuit is taken against a company (or an empty shell in this case), there are always people at the company also named. A company can't do anything illegal. It's people at the company who do such things. Sometimes promoters or others who may have manipulated a stock are also named in such lawsuits.

It's my belief that one or more people may be under investigation in the ANWM scam and likely hired the attorney to defend them in addition to defending the company against any potential future action. IMO, the ambiguous PR was issued in a misleading way.

I truly doubt this attorney was hired to help AMWM find a sponsoring MM or correspond with FINRA to get the stock off of the grey market. I believe the problems are much more serious and would not be at all surprised to see future regulatory action taken.
