But, it isn't. Comstock wasn't one at all. It was a FULLY REPORTING company on the OTCBB when it merged with the mining company that became Comstock. When it was a non-reporting pink sheet company, it was a disaster, which is exactly the point of many of the people here. Non-reporting is worthless. To be considered legitimate, you have to be fully reporting.

Give me an example of a non-reporting pink sheet company that is not a shell (i.e, has an operating business) or a financial institution (such as a bank) and that was able to grow that operating business while being a non-reporting pink sheet company to the point that it was able to obtain a full listing on a major exchange or market (NYSE, NYSE AMEX or NASDAQ) whereupon it became a fully reporting issuer at the time of listing. Of the top of my head, I can name none, but I think in the last 20 years if I go through my files I might be able to pull out 2 or 3. Maybe. In 20 years. And I believe those 2 or 3 were all closely held (usually family) companies that obtained a listing for essentially estate planning purposes, rather than as entrepreneurs building a company from the ground up.
