Iron-ore suppliers VALE and CLF are down today in an up market. Is this attributable to Jim Chanos, who recently said that companies who supply commodities to China are sucker plays because China is doomed?

CLF does not even supply much iron ore to China, but that’s another story.

p.s. That Chanos thinks China is doomed is old news (#msg-56791233).
