I consulted with Robert Heinlein, and he gave me the following advice:
"In a situation like this, you don't want to confuse the moment by really trying to find the right answer. This is more about a dynamic than it is about being a test. Take the miracle drug with the nasty side effects. It can't be the right answer. Let the lesson begin as soon as possible, because life is short."
I'm going to take the miracle drug. I just feel instinctively that my superhuman constitution will fight off the side effects. When in doubt, I let narcissism deal the river card.
