Actually, I see this just the opposite.

Moskowitz has plead guilty and will seek some level of leniency. The Judges decisions on leniency will be in part based on his actions and his remorse. what Moskowitz did here is continue to try and lie and manipulate the courts in attempts to abscond more of the victims losses.

Moskowitz is playing this like the fool he is.
