Okay, just spoke to Brian at E*Trade and he said they're still waiting on delivery of good certs from DTC. We went back and forth when I told him there is NO STOCK to be delivered and it needs to be covered (bought) by open market purchases, just like any other short position. He said they're classifying the GVRP position as "sold not long", rather than a short sale. I told him there are due bills attached and I don't care how they're classifying it, the short needs to be covered, period. And the saga continues...
